When Jerry and I started "Red & jerry's Rockin Metal Revival" a couple of years ago in Jerry's Basement in Beloit. It was just us with a surprise visit from possibly Andy or Jim Bob every once in a while. Now with the show lineup and dynamic changing since the shows creation some of the names have stayed the same and some have changed. But the mission statement has pretty much stayed the same "To bring the listeners the best Hard Rock and Heavy Metal of the past 30 years". The show now consists of three of my best friends and the loss of one. In the summer of 2008 Jerry's wife was given a unbelievable opportunity in her career and the family moved to Portland, Oregon. For a while I contemplated just calling it quits. But with the help and encouragemnet of Andy, Jim Bob, and Chris Aiken of "The Classic Metal Show" a new breed of the RMR was born. The show now consists of my co-host Andy, our executive producer Smooth, and the ever popular and always thinking redneck Jim Bob. We had been doing a segment with Jerry called "Tone and Feeling" but he's decided that the segment has run it's course. We hope that Jerry stays in touch with the show. This week on the Rockin' Metal Revival, Red and Andy welcome a true legend to the ROCKIN' METAL REVIVAL, former Kiss Guitarist Ace Frehley! That's right friends, Space Ace will be featured throughout the current RMR, as well as telling stories of his past with Kiss as well as talking about his upcoming new CD, ANOMALY. The guys are honored to have Ace on the show. If you are a fan of Ace or Kiss, this is one episode you can't miss!
The Rockin' Metal Revival is a bi-weekly radio programming airing on numerous radio stations around the world courtesy of the World Wide Web. The show was formed in 2007 by Red and Jerry. The guys built a format based on powerful melodic hard rock and heavy metal, as well as interviews with the biggest names in that genre. Andy and JimBob were along from the beginning as well. After moving to Oregon, Jerry gave way to Andy as the co-host, but remains a vital part of the show by keeping the industry in line with his Tone and Feeling segment. The king of cool, Smooth, joined the program in 2009 to round out the lineup of the show that brings you the rock and the rock n' rollers every other week.
